About Me

Mitchell is a Chicago-based artist and educator whose work explores the nuanced intersection of conceptual realism and emotional narrative. With over a decade of experience as the founder of Parker’s Images, Mitchell has cultivated a practice that is as technically rigorous as it is metaphorically rich.

His fine art contributions have earned significant international acclaim, including consecutive selections as a PhotoLucida Critical Mass Top 200 finalist (2023, 2025). His work has been featured in a ten-page spread for MAPS Magazine (Seoul, South Korea) and recognized by the editors of LensCulture across multiple categories, including Art, Emerging Talent, and Black & White photography.

An active voice in the arts community, Mitchell frequently serves as a juror for the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and as a guest speaker for organizations like the St. Charles Artist Council. His commercial excellence is equally decorated; a The Knot “Best of Weddings” Hall of Fame inductee, he has been consistently recognized for his ability to capture the profound in the everyday. Mitchell holds an MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (’24).
